Tavistock Scrapstore is a Charity registered with the Charity Commission Reg. No. 1161592
Cultivating Creative Communities
We help artists, local community groups, children, people with disabilities, schools and more. Keeping the cost of scrap material down means creativity can come without a large cost!
Tavistock Scrapstore aims to advance Arts and Crafts by facilitating the use and provision of recycled, scrap or surplus materials as a creative resource to individuals, both adults and children, with the aim of improving their social welfare, mental health and well-being and inspiring creativity for the public and for the benefit of the environment.
Tavistock Scrapstore aims to protect and preserve the environment for the public benefit by promoting recycling, using recycled products and scrap along with advancing the education of the public about waste recycling and the use of surplus and scrap.
Workshops: We regularly hold low-cost workshops in traditional and modern craft skills for adults and children and their carers. Schedules are made available on our Facebook page and in store.
We are happy to provide workshops for schools, community groups, businesses, or clubs for low or no cost using recycled materials. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
